stella has taken this plant as her new favourite sitting spot. she sits there and sniffs the leaves, her butt compressing the earth and probably the roots with it. then i scoop her up and little bits of dirt go everywhere. they travel in her fur to the far reaches of the apartment. thanks stella, i don't know what i would do with my time if i weren't cleaning up after you.

this morning i went for a run even though i have a cold. it's been about 6 days since my last one (due to said cold) so it was time. i felt like i was in a commercial for any over the counter anything that allows you to push past physical discomfort in the name of fitness. i actually feel better than before i went. prove me wrong again, life. don't ever listen to your instinct that says to stay on the couch. it's evil and it wants you to be fat.
