Jack

If you don't know how I feel about Jack Layton, may I point you to this beginner's guide to my politics/heart. I hadn't seen his grave and I've been meaning to - there is something in visiting a physical site that really fills in the blanks and makes it all make a bit more sense. It's the missing piece. Looking at something that others have looked at for the same reason, a common destination. People have been doing it for thousands of years. Pilgrimmages of all sorts, to arrive at a place that might bring the visitor some kind of healing/awareness/comfort/awakening. I guess there was part of that in there. Then it rained, again.
