Make It Lovely

last week i had the pleasure of picking up my favourite little guy from daycare. i do this every now and then to bridge the gap between his daycare letting out and my bestie getting off work. it's weird to push a stroller with a kid that isn't yours though, i know people assume he's mine (in a biological sense) and it really makes me think about what being a mom will look like for me.

is he not the coolest little 2 year old? yes, he is. my favourite thing is to tip the stroller back on it's wheels and run really fast. he yells "NOOOOOO!" but is laughing his head off every time. i think he just knows that's not how strollers are meant to be used. babysitter mom is bad mom hee hee.



ladies and gentlemen, i give to you: THE FUTURE



dinner was noodles with meat sauce, but he wasn't sure if he wanted the cold bowl or the warm bowl, so i let him have both. i think it's good to give kids choices. rudy of course, was ready for a snack.

last night for a friends birthday we went to El Rincon on St. Clair near Christie. it was flippin amazing. sangria, guacamole (with the best chips ever) and huge taco plates. it's the real deal. the salsa is house-made, and oh-so-smoky. amazing everything. i will be back asap.

i had a full weekend. i am averaging 4-5 hours of sleep a night. i can't fall asleep, then i wake up at 3:30 and am wide awake. i feel tired and i look tired.

sunday was rainy and i sat around and serenaded the cats. they were appreciative. i need a capo.





i have to admit, i love my new iphone. it does so much. (too much).
