have you seen this? it's going to make my life much easier. especially since i'm near sighted and don't wear my glasses. i have been the girl on the phone being directed towards people who are just meters away one too many times. "no, your other left, no you're about to walk into a tree, no, you don't know those people I AM WEARING A RED SHIRT AND STANDING AND WAVING TO YOU HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE ME?". no more.

yesterday we took advantage of the afternoon sun on both the patios of the vic and paupers. beer was had. i don't know if i can do the afternoon sun beers anymore. it really knocks me out. but look how tempting:

we came home to this little rascal meowing his heart out upon spotting us. "hey! hi! i know you! why are you down there?! come up here! or let me down! hi!"

i spent the morning going through the massive amount of clothing in my closet. i only got through the dresses before i got tired of it. this is my prom dress from almost 10 years ago. it still fits. pretty happy about that.

i spent a lot of time doing this: "is this too harajuku? is it too short? will i want to wear this anywhere other than a picnic? can i even sit on a blanket in this thing?" etc. repeat times a thousand.

goodbye forest green prom dress i wore for my mermaid costume 3 years ago. goodbye dress i bought for a wedding that i didn't like but got because it was an emergency and didn't even end up wearing it. goodbye dress that i bought before i had boobs whose buttons now strain and pop open. goodbye dress that is actually an 80's powersuit-dress (complete with shoulderpads) that i planned on cutting the skirt part off of to wear on its own but never will. GOODBYE. stop crowding my life!

i think i'll wear that navajo print one tonight. it's not too hot out. and i haven't worn it since my birthday. this is why i love going through clothes. it's like shopping in your own closet, and free.

"what do you want to do next?" good question, windows!
