friday night we park partied. it was fun. getting kind of tired of bars. there'll be plenty of time for that in the winter.

that's my helmet. i'm trying to be good. when you know how hard a car feels on your face at full speed it makes you not care so much about helmet head. small price to pay. i'm going to invent one that fits over a topknot and make millions off of aging hipsters who want the convenience of safety without sacrificing style.


impromptu cottage visit. left the city early saturday morning and enjoyed a full afternoon on the dock in the sun. it was real good. a walk in the woods, gin/lemonade, star watching, you know.







layla had a grand old time galloping around and doing other dog things.



if you ever need to know where there is some goose shit, she's your girl. she WILL find it.

came home to a whole bunch of ripeness. it's a good thing too, because that other one is getting choked out by the morning glories.



they will pretty much wrap around anything. example:



dropped my bags on the floor and met karen for coffee (actually iced green/mint tea) and an AMAZING sandwich at this place. the grilled veggie one. it was actually so, so delicious. go there and grab a bite.
