so much magic up there in the fall. it can't be described. knowing we probably won't be there this time next year was heartbreaking. IS heartbreaking. i had a lump in my throat the whole weekend. i tried to remember every moment, the way the sunlight filters in different places, and to memorize the smells, even though i know doing so is impossible. i know this because i am always, always surprised at how beautiful it smells, it always hits me. every time.
