well, you get another chance. watch archer. if you don't think it's funny we can't be friends*
*if i can (painfully, begrudgingly and halfheartedly) turn a blind eye on someone voting for ford i can possibly forgive you for this but i won't be happy about it.
in other news, yesterday i got my second delivery from Mama Earth Organics. this is a "small" or "single" bin.

it costs $25 and this week it contained:
-two apples
-two oranges
-four bananas
-two heads of lettuce
-two yellow onions'
-two pounds of rainbow carrots
-one head of broccoli
-one GIANT squash
to wit:

the top squash was a regular old squash that i bought a few days ago, not realizing i would soon have all the squash my heart could desire.

squash soup anyone? i think the bin is pretty good value. it's probably a little more than what you would spend on the same things at the grocery store (depending on your store), but it's all very carefully sourced and organic and you can feel good about spending your money on it. also, there is something very exciting about knowing your bin is coming. last night i ran into the people delivering it, ironically while i was on my way to the store to pick up food, and i got so excited to find out what was in it. it's like christmas, but with vegetables. it's also really convenient.
i am lucky enough to live 3 minutes away from Fiesta Farms (the best grocery store in Toronto) so for me, it doesn't make sense to continue the service but i highly encourage you to look into this company if your options for good produce are limited. the customer service was great - i was paying with a gift certificate that was purchased through fabfind and they made it really easy.
also, this:

what a cute little sprinkling.
