so the little bulb below the IV bag became completely full of the solution somehow - it's supposed to be half full so that you can see the speed of the drip. had to pull out the line and dump some out. i don't think i'll ever be completely comfortable with this stuff because I AM NOT A DOCTOR.
the fact that they allow us to put an IV line under a living creature's skin with 5 minutes of training continually blows my mind. with real needles. SHARP ONES.

i had a The Ring moment yesterday (for once i am not talking about the One Ring To Rule Them All, and rather The Ring the horror movie). i think i might be nearing the time in my life when i should entertain the idea of having shorter hair. not short, but shorter. basically, i'm having an identity crisis. all my friends are getting engaged and having kids and here i am just keeping on. me and my long hair, just pretending the fountain of youth is never-ending.
got on one of the new trains yesterday and was SO EXCITED! what can i say, infrastructure really does it for me.
i wanted to take a bunch of pictures of the articulated cars but it was busy so this is all i got.
