i went to the ex for the first time in my life last night. i don't know why it has never happened before, it just hasn't.
this special occasion called for getting drunk. i achieved this by having two double rum/perrier/lime/agave cocktails during dinner and then a beer and a shot at sweaty betty's.

hello, i am drunk

first stop: tickets.

don't mind if i do!!!

ok where to first?

here.

ok, now where to?

HERE!

oh mah gaaahhhhhh it's going to happen any second

any second now gaaaaAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

then, we went on the zipper. here is something i do not recommend: getting drunk, eating a whole bunch of spun sugar and donuts, and then flipping around over and over and over AND OVER AND OVER. after an eternity of this hell, the guy opened the cage and goes "she don't look so good". while everyone else was screaming "AAAHHHHH", i was screaming "NNOOOOOOOONOONONONONONOOOOO". as i was stumbling away, hair all over the place, trying not to barf, necklaces (which had been hitting me in the face the whole time) all tangled in my bag strap i told the people in line "DON'T DO IT".
this is me trying to get it together:

i really thought i was going to hurl. i wanted to.
i did not go on any rides after this. i wanted to do the gravitron but i feared the barf so i sat down on not-a-seat (there is NO WHERE to sit anywhere) and waited, which was actually pretty interesting, just watching people. toronto is quite a place.

i would go back, i had a really good time. i felt like a 10 year old as soon as we walked in. i will probably never step foot on a zipper again though. i think i said that the last time i went on one, so who knows. i'm not known for boycotts that i actually stick to. things are always a good idea until they're not.
