mondays are better when you can spend them in the park rather than at work. we decided to hit high park instead of the usual bellwoods meet-up. it was nice to have a change of scenery and also to not be on display at hipster heaven. also nat had never been and that's just not right.

this was a pretty small-scale picnic people-wise, but not food-wise, oh no. unfortunately some of the ladies couldn't make it, due to deck-building in one case and i know not what else in other cases (probably exciting long weekend-y things), but we managed to grab what we had in our fridges (marshmallows??) and make a feast regardless. also, rum.

that's not a finger up in the corner, it's a stupid tree branch. yesterday a guy whispered "ooooh baby" in the dirtiest, most perverted way right in my ear as i was unlocking my bike. i could basically hear his boner. so gross. tube tops. perverts love them.
which way is the beach nat?? actually if i remember correctly this was some kind of dance situation. regardless, helloooo nurse!

hey kids.

the maple leaf flower motif was a big hit with tourists for photos. we did not partake, instead, we spied.

this bag has been the best purchase of my summer. PASTEL RATTAN!!

let us observe this leaf as it rests elegantly on natalie's hip.

we emerged from the shade into the sun once it wasn't too hot.

tami shows us how to make a macro lens with your iphone and a drop of water.

this concludes yesterday's episode of picnic. let's do it again next week, but next time all you girls/people better make it! we need a communication system to call all parties to the park. like a bat-signal, but with a picnic basket instead. or maybe sunglasses, that would work too, and would probably look better.

Damn you and your endless stream of perfect selfies!
I am all over doing this again, but next time I shall not bring my old bag of marshmallows as I see that they are not appreciated.
