the air was getting heavy, i knew that it was comin

stella is an unwilling halloween participant. little red riding hood for only two seconds. she ran away with this still draped around her like a little red sausage.

alright, into the real halloween stuff. oh, hey. party animals on patrol.

photo 1.JPG

this night was so fun. i love sitting around drinking, i think it's always my favourite part of the night because you can tell disgusting stories and talk while actually hearing each other. bars are fun too but i really have to be in the right mood and not tired because talking loudly makes me tired because I'm a baby.

behold: new kitchen hutch. i was so tired of staring at shelves with blenders on them. now the blenders are in cupboards and there is room for booze and jugs and jars. fiiiinally.

this is what i did last friday night: sorted buttons. took them all out of their bags, now i have a bowl of them. my life is so exciting. whatever, i love doing tasks like this. it's rewarding to cherish something as small as a button.

then last sunday i went to moms for dinner, where i was ruthlessly attacked by this blood-thirsty hell hound.

photo 1.JPG

specifically, he attacked my necklace.

photo 2.JPG

but look at that FACE.

next: veggie chili. this was made in a large quantity in preparation for the storm. it is still in the fridge.

photo 2.JPG

that's grated parmesan on there, btw. so sharp, so delicious.

ooohhhh heeeEEEEYYYY just bein a tiny snoogler

photo 4.JPG

she has taken to curling up on the duvet beside me now that it's cold. so cute. i curl around her.

LOOK at that paw, just tucked under.

photo 5.JPG

too much.

storm aftermath was not what i was expecting. we got off easy. i feel so badly for all the people whose homes flooded, imagine living in a basement apartment in new york. all your shit would be ruined, including the place you call home.

photo 1.JPG

just a whole lot of mess everywhere. not too bad though.

photo 2.JPG

it's been raining since last week. i am getting used to it.

photo 3.JPG

i miss sunny fall days, although there is something delicious and cozy about wallowing in the grey.
