don't make no difference what nobody says, ain't nobody like to be alone.
this was my horoscope the day i got the keys:

you're damn right it is! it's about time, too. you have NO IDEA. the people that matter know. the ones who don't can continue to be willfully ignorant. i've remained pretty quiet about it but you better believe it's been a trial and coming out the other side with my head up has been and continues to be a challenge to say the least. there have been some dark days. there have been weeks where i didn't sleep for more than a few hours. ever heard of the anxiety diet? probably not, because it sucks. now i'm just trying to make the best of every day, with the luck i've been given, and to be thankful, because i am. you know who you are. i hope.

it's like the shining, but with a sea of primer. scale of the shoes and chair to wall should show you how high those GD ceilings are, which i enjoy now but not so much when it was painting time.

first ikea trip. there will be one more. still need some pot racks and curtains.

ARRANGE THYSELF! i command thee.

angela came over and we laughed hysterically while i continued figuring out how to use my kitchen to make meals. (did you know i have no sharp knives? angela brought me some as a housewarming gift, thank goodness). i offered her a truffle and she was like "wait, the chocolate ones, not the mushroom ones, right?" haha! imagine i just casually offered truffle mushrooms to my guests.

julia dropped by too, with her little bean in tow. look at that wee little hand! inspiring, that. i'm so glad i get to live so close to them. i love being auntie sarah. i have so many little nieces and nephews in my circle now, with more on the way.

the family ladder. proud to have used it.

ok one shelf is ready, although looks a bit different now. progress! the bedroom is almost set up, things are finding their spots. takes a while. when it's all said and done i'll show you around. or maybe you'll just have to come over. those walls look beige. they are not. i assure you they are the softest dove grey you've ever seen.

first bathroom selfie! thought i'd make it a gooder. super glamorous carbon mask.

alright i'm out. see you in a week, i'm going to paradise to soothe my soul and steady my path.
