weekend birthdays

on friday night we headed over to rob and tami's for a small pizza party to celebrate the birth of rob/bobbert/bobby b. this was especially exciting because these two lovebirds have recently decided to get married. i love when good people find good people and live happily ever after. toasts were toasted, champagne was cheersed.



in attendance was walter the dog, who was the hit of the party. what a good little guy. you can tell he's going to grow up to be a very sweet dog, especially with all the loving care he'll get from his dad mr. rennick.

saturday afternoon was adelaide's first birthday. she had the BEST cake ever. DUCKIES!!!



the decorations were out-of-control amazing.



and there was a decorate-your-own cupcake area. dream party.

i bet you can't even believe that i made it because it is so professional and beautiful. i can't describe it, (and you're going to think i'm super lame) but as i shook those tiny sprinkles onto it i got this insanely happy feeling in my heart. i think it was because it reminded me of being a kid in a really visceral/visual way.

addie loved the duck. it was a big hit.

two very different, yet equally special birthdays.
