one step forward...

took the rats to the vet yesterday. oscar, as always, is doing fine. he is about one pound heavier than he should be so he'll be going on a "reduced calorie" diet. it's okay honey it happens to everyone.

this one, on the other hand.




it's mixed news. she "appears" fine, but has lost a full pound. she is now six and a half pounds. so, tiny. very tiny. this could be an indicator of bad news, but i'm really hoping it's not. maybe the heat has compromised her appetite. let's hope. the blood tests will back in a day or two.

she seems not to care and went back to spying on the neighbours given the first opportunity.
