this is yet another example of people in my life doing super cool things, and for that, i'm happy and proud to support them. (not that they weren't already doing super cool things, but Holt's is a company that is embedded in the consciousness of pretty much anyone who likes fashion and as such this is kind of a big deal (in my opinion)). i thought it a good idea to go ahead and jump on that bandwagon. i've never owned a $75 sweatshirt before but i'm glad i do now. so far i have put it on every day because it is the new comfiest thing i own and you know i'm a sucker for that. it doesn't hurt that it looks pretty cool.
friday night there was a party for all of the designers. if you weren't one of them or "with" them somehow, your ticket in was...the sweatshirt, which i had! what what! free drinks at l'ouvrier! your choice of three skyy vodka cocktails. i was sipping carefully though, in order to save my liver damage for saturday night.

when else can you wear a sweatshirt to a bar and not look out of place? maybe this is not as notable for guys as it is girls.

the alternating colours were unintentional. the demon eyes were not.
