11 years ago, mr. mendelovits was trying to explain the meaning of "infinitesimal" to a class of grade 11s when the first plane hit. i was one of those grade 11s, and to this day i cannot comprehend the scale of that act of terror, nor the concept of a number "Capable of having values approaching zero as a limit". not a thing was learned that day, except what it was like to watch a building collapse with thousands of people inside. it was horrible.
